What is The Change Curve?

My name is Will Myddelton. I'm a product person who used to be a user-centred designer. I’ve worked at Local Welcome, the Government Digital Service (GDS), a design agency called cxpartners, and a bunch of other random places.

My career has been a one long search to have meaningful impact.

Along the way I’ve learned a ton of interesting stuff about design, research, strategy, delivery, facilitation, operations, and on and on. Every year or two I manage to step back and write up the most important things I’ve learned at myddelton.co.uk. But those posts are few and far between.

The Change Curve newsletter is an experiment to fill in the inevitable gaps. A bit more little-and-often and a bit less fits-and-starts. If it works it’ll be full of half-finished thoughts, interesting things I’ve read, and mistakes I’ve made.

Oh, and the title comes from a piece I wrote once about struggling to come to terms with changes, which is always evergreen to me even though it’s from 2015…
